MISSION STATEMENT

The Tom Nicholson Memorial Foundation is committed to the ongoing advancement and growth of players 60 years of age and older.  The participation in the wooden bat tournament is in memory of Tom Nicholson and in honor of the fallen players that have been lost in the senior softball community.  Our goal is to provide a tournament that creates enrichment for our senior community through camaraderie, and to stimulate competitive purpose in a challenging, respectful, and fun athletic environment.

TNMT HISTORY:

The TNMT inception began in 2008 and was started and organized by Del Drake.  The tournament was so well received by the senior softball community,  a board was formed, and the TNMT offically came to be in 2009.  The Idaho Senior games then picked it up and sponsored the TNMT through 2013.  In 2014, the TNMT went back to being independent and now operates under the Tom Nicholson Memorial Foundation, Inc. which was established as a 501 (c) (3) Non-Profit in August of 2015
